Safe Handling Tips

While we use only the best quality meats and other ingredients in our recipes, we recommend that you employ the same safe handling procedures for our products that are generally suggested for any raw meats in your home:

  • Keep frozen until ready to use.
  • Thaw in refrigerator.
  • Wash surfaces, bowls, utensils, and hands with hot, soapy water.
  • Promptly refrigerate, refreeze or discard unused portions.
  • Product remains usable for at least a year in freezer.
  • Food stays fresh for 3-5 days in refrigerator once thawed.
  • May safely be subdivided and refrozen with no loss of nutrients.
